Performance Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement performance testing strategies, which encompass load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.

• Create and sustain performance test scripts utilizing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Gatling.

• Establish workload models, baselines, and service-level objectives that align with release criteria.

• Examine logs, metrics, and observability data to pinpoint performance bottlenecks across applications, databases, and infrastructure.

• Integrate automated performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gate processes.

• Assist in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and devising remediation plans for identified performance challenges.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, DevSecOps, and product teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational readiness in modern application environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in performance testing, software engineering, or application support with a focus on performance engineering responsibilities.

• Practical experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Gatling.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, web application architectures, and performance metrics analysis.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

• Must not require current or future sponsorship to work in the United States.
