This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.
• Foster and nurture relationships with OEM corporate teams, field teams, and dealership clients.
• Offer consultative advice and actionable insights to enhance client product utilization and effectiveness.
• Conduct consultations at dealerships as well as over the phone.
• Oversee client retention, account progress, and outcomes within a designated portfolio.
• Take part in regular OEM meetings to evaluate activities, assess value delivered, and align on ongoing objectives.
• Act as the primary customer relationship manager for Xtime products post-implementation.
• Ensure monthly and quarterly client engagement levels are maintained to improve product performance and lower churn risk.
• Conduct monthly KPI evaluations with OEM Regional Management Teams.
• Tailor Xtime products to customer processes through in-dealership consultations.
• Support enterprise customer training initiatives.
• Provide L2/L3 technical assistance to enterprise customers.
• Create consultative summaries for dealership management.
• Advocate for enterprise customers and dealerships within Xtime.
• Manage and monitor travel requirements in accordance with customer and Cox Automotive guidelines.
• Develop and lead regional and district dealer group presentations.
• Represent Xtime and Cox Automotive at dealer and industry conferences.
• Develop and deliver quarterly workshops on best business practices to internal OE Performance Management colleagues.
• Identify and escalate accounts at high risk of churn.
• Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process for OE Performance Management candidates.
• Maintain performance across OE PM disciplines while ensuring portfolio churn remains at or below benchmark.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2 years of experience within an OEM, dealer groups, dealerships, or industry vendors; alternatively, a master’s degree with up to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of direct experience working with dealerships, ideally in an advisory or account management role.
• Thorough understanding of dealership processes related to variable and fixed operations.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to discuss technical matters with non-technical customer personnel.
• Demonstrated sensitivity and patience while interacting with customers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75%, including in-market and overnight trips.
• Must reside in the Upper Midwest.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship.
• Familiarity with one or more DMS systems is preferred.
• Proven success in driving behavioral and process changes among automotive dealership personnel is preferred.
