This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage in the analysis, design, testing, documentation, modification, and implementation of the Academy of Art University's enterprise-wide PeopleSoft applications.

• Identify business and reporting needs by collaborating with the end-user community, translating them into technical specifications for development.

• Create, test, and document upgrades, customizations, enhancements, and reports for PeopleSoft.

• Offer technical evaluation and support both prior to and following PeopleSoft implementations/upgrades.

• Deliver production support for PeopleSoft applications.

• Assess, recommend, and implement best practices for data integration and exchange between PeopleSoft and other systems at the Academy of Art University, including but not limited to Bright Space LMS and Salesforce.

• Provide training for end-users and technical staff as necessary.

• Suggest modifications in development, maintenance, and system standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer sciences, engineering, or a related field is required.

• Previous full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementation experience, with a minimum of six years in both technical and functional roles.

• Demonstrated ability to integrate data across enterprise systems.

• Prior experience in integrating PeopleSoft with Salesforce systems and web services is preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Practical experience with PeopleSoft Development tools and reporting tools, including PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Workflow, Security, Application Engine, PS/Query, nVision, Crystal, SQR, etc.

• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft applications version 9.X.

• Prior experience in Student Administration and/or Finance is preferred.

• Technical proficiency in SQL and other relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
