This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Deliver L1, L2, and L3 support for PeopleSoft applications, encompassing incident resolution and ticket management.
• Oversee maintenance and support tasks, including the application of Oracle certificates, as well as updates for PeopleSoft and CPU patches.
• Administer and troubleshoot application servers, process schedulers, and web server domains.
• Configure and manage Elasticsearch, including analysis of issues and root cause identification.
• Utilize Change Assistant to implement Oracle-delivered bug fixes.
• Execute performance tuning for application, web, and process scheduler servers.
• Conduct debugging, tracing, and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft.
• Assist with Oracle database backup management and contribute to performance tuning efforts.
• Manage and support Integration Broker and Single Sign-On functionalities.
• Configure and troubleshoot Integration Broker effectively.
• Establish and configure clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms for PeopleSoft servers.
• Carry out PeopleSoft environment refreshes, including file servers and recreation of application, web, and process scheduler domains.
• Collaborate with the technical team on impact analysis related to applied patches and packages.
• Work alongside the technical team on development challenges necessitating Apps DBA and PeopleTools Metadata expertise.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly health checks to ensure the overall health of instances.
• Generate security access reports across various environments.
• Create and maintain environment catalogs along with pertinent documentation.
• Over 5 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator.
• Familiarity with the current PeopleTools version: PT 8.59.
• Basic knowledge of database administration is acceptable; advanced expertise in Database Administration is not mandatory.
• Experience with project migrations utilizing the STAT tool.
• Proficient in using Jira or similar ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of Azure cloud technologies is a plus.
• Experience in providing PeopleSoft application support across L1, L2, and L3 levels.
• Knowledge of Oracle certificates, PeopleSoft patches, and CPU patch updates.
• Proven experience in administering application servers, process schedulers, and web server domains.
• Experience with the configuration and troubleshooting of Elasticsearch.
• Proficient in using Change Assistant.
• Knowledge of performance tuning strategies for application, web, and process scheduler servers.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft debugging, tracing, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of Oracle database backup management and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Apps DBA and PeopleTools Metadata.
• Familiarity with Integration Broker, Single Sign-On, clustering, load balancing, and failover processes.
• Capability to generate security access reports and maintain relevant environment documentation.
