This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to extending signed offers.
• Identify and engage potential candidates, conduct initial conversations, manage focused interview processes, and maintain an efficient Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Collaborate with founders and functional leaders to prioritize roles and assist hiring managers in their decision-making.
• Oversee people operations across various countries, including managing contracts, payroll partners, Employer of Record (EOR) providers, benefits, time off, and employee requests.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to deadlines while working with local providers and advisors on employment regulations.
• Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience and assist managers in setting clear expectations, context, and relationships for new hires.
• Develop and implement compensation and performance management processes, which encompass salary reviews, leveling, performance evaluations, and equity administration such as BSPCE.
• Organize all-hands meetings and company offsites, enhance internal communication, and foster collaboration among distributed teams.
• Supply founders with insights on hiring, headcount, and employment costs while identifying potential bottlenecks in the process.
• Streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate with the Administration, Workplace Operations, and Finance teams.
• Provide guidance to managers, challenge them when necessary, and align priorities with founders.
• Proven experience integrating People and Talent functions within a growing organization.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing candidates, collaborating with hiring managers for assessments, and successfully closing offers.
• Background in recruiting both technical and business profiles across various functions and markets.
• Practical understanding of international employment practices, including working with EOR providers, payroll partners, and local advisors.
• Strong operational judgment and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in using ATS, HRIS, and payroll systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with care and attention to detail.
• Capacity to introduce, manage, and enhance effective processes without adding unnecessary complexity.
• Fluent in professional English.
• Proficiency in French or German is advantageous for interaction with local employees and providers, though not mandatory.
• Experience with developer tools, open source, operations, consulting, or supporting US employment from Europe is beneficial, but not required.
• Equity participation through BSPCE where applicable.
• Flexibility to work remotely from France or Germany, accommodating team commitments.
• Annual company offsite event.
