People Systems – AI Analyst

Posted Jul 14

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture and configuration of Workday.

• Manage the business process framework within Workday — including how approvals are routed, how tasks are triggered, and how workflows are sequenced throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Configure and uphold security roles to ensure appropriate data access for designated individuals.

• Develop and sustain custom reports and calculated fields that inform compensation decisions, headcount tracking, and organizational management.

• Design and oversee integrations between Workday and our wider People technology ecosystem — including payroll, Pulley, and Ashby — to ensure seamless data flow without manual reconciliation.

• Conduct audits and consistently enhance system configurations as the organization evolves and business requirements shift.

• Act as the internal expert on Workday — the individual who thoroughly understands the system’s capabilities and encourages its effective utilization.

• Identify manual, repetitive workflows within the People function and create automations to eliminate them.

• Assess and implement AI tools pertinent to People Operations, compensation, and systems administration.

• Collaborate with the Total Rewards & Infrastructure Lead to develop and execute a People AI roadmap.

• Keep abreast of new AI and automation features released by Workday and integrate those capabilities internally.

• Establish and maintain the data infrastructure that underpins compensation decisions — including salary bands, job architecture, and leveling frameworks.

• Support the annual compensation review cycle from a systems and data standpoint.

• Oversee equity administration in Pulley and ensure data integrity across grant history, vesting schedules, and records of terminated employees.

• Collaborate with the Total Rewards & Infrastructure Lead on compensation modeling and scenario analysis as we scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in an HRIS or People Systems role within a rapidly growing company.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Workday — you have configured business processes, created security roles, designed integrations, and written calculated fields. Merely using it is not sufficient.

• A genuine enthusiasm for AI and automation in the People domain — you have insights on its future direction and a desire to contribute to its development.

• Familiarity with equity administration platforms; experience with Pulley is a plus.

• Sufficient comfort with compensation data to be a valuable partner in compensation architecture and modeling.

• A low-ego, high-output mindset — you create solutions for what doesn’t exist without requiring a detailed brief.

• A startup mentality — you act swiftly, solve problems independently, and don’t wait for instructions.

🏝️ Benefits

• Health insurance

• 401(k) matching

• Flexible work hours
