This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Act as the main analyst for Workday U.S. Payroll configuration, Absence, and Core HCM, focusing on system updates, maintenance, and enhancements.
• Evaluate business needs and convert them into system configurations and designs.
• Configure, sustain, and troubleshoot Workday U.S. Payroll, Absence, and Core HCM analyst modules in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Assist with payroll integrations involving third-party vendors (such as tax agencies, benefits providers, and banks).
• Create user guides and training materials specifically designed for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Core HCM analyst end-users.
• Conduct root cause analysis on payroll issues and spearhead resolution initiatives.
• Organize and implement end-to-end testing for enhancements and updates related to Workday Payroll.
• Engage in Workday's biannual release management, concentrating on updates to payroll features.
• Maintain current and audit-ready configuration and documentation related to payroll, Absence, and Core HCM analyst.
• Collaborate with the People Platform and Global Talent & Culture teams to facilitate scalable and repeatable payroll, Absence, and Core HCM analyst operations.
• Serve as a member of the change control committee, ensuring that changes are accurately logged with comprehensive documentation that describes the requests. Comply with all change board policies and procedures.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Workday certification is advantageous.
• 3-4 years of experience working with Workday or another HRIS platform.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• A mindset geared toward process improvement and innovative problem-solving.
• Familiarity with HCM Core, Business Process Framework, HCM Reporting, and HR platform security principles.
