People Operations and Insights Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Address challenging and ambiguous questions with thoroughness and independence, taking full ownership of projects from problem identification to final recommendations.

• Create and execute project plans, enhance workflows, and ensure all stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the entire process.

• Track project progress, recognize potential risks, and proactively apply mitigation strategies to guarantee timely and successful project completion.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and engineering, to pinpoint opportunities for process and control improvements.

• Establish and uphold effective project governance, ensuring that all project activities, decisions, and key milestones align with standards and best practices.

• Prepare presentations for senior leadership, as well as internal and external stakeholders, and users.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continual improvement within the People team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 7 years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting, with a minimum of 2 years working within an HR team at a company.

• Demonstrated success in navigating complex situations and delivering results while balancing urgency with thoughtful consideration.

• Experience collaborating across functions with teams such as HR, Finance, Legal, Product, Tech, and Leadership.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach aimed at guiding decision-making.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively convey complex ideas to various stakeholders.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Airtable) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).

• Strong ability to collaborate across functions, demonstrating a proven history of building trust and driving alignment among teams.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple projects at once.

• Preferred qualifications: Experience with change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR® Model), experience in developing and deploying enablement and training materials, familiarity with HR systems (e.g., HCM, ATS, LMS, CRM), experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity, advanced skills in Mac OS and Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
