This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• In your role, you will help build a company that our residents cherish, serving as the representative of the People and Culture team for our employees across various Brisbane Metro homes.
• Spearhead people and culture initiatives that align with the overarching people strategy.
• Utilize your coaching and development skills to enhance leadership capabilities among employees at all levels.
• Approach complex industrial relations (IR) and employee relations (ER) matters with a balanced, pragmatic, and human-centered perspective.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of how to interpret and implement industrial instruments.
• Lead transformational change by collaborating on various projects to integrate People & Culture initiatives into operations, ensuring the success and sustainability of new practices.
• Be a trusted partner to key stakeholders, demonstrating an adaptable style that fosters strong, reliable relationships.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and educational programs for home-based employees of all levels in an engaging and interactive manner that makes learning enjoyable.
• A pragmatic mindset and a curiosity to delve into issues beyond the surface level.
• A genuine commitment to caring for people and doing what is right.
• Proven experience in a P&C/HR Business Partner role, showcasing effective partnering skills within a shared service model.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders, fostering thriving workplace cultures and promoting autonomy in people leadership.
• Capacity to establish positive working relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Experience in implementing change initiatives within the organization and supporting leaders during the transition.
• Confidence in facilitating training and leadership workshops.
• Proven ability to navigate complex ER matters within a best practice framework.
• Capacity to thrive in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to travel as needed for operational purposes and team development.
