This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a Business Partner
• Foster reliable relationships with managers across various client groups; provide coaching on leadership effectiveness, team well-being, and organizational design.
• Supply AOP workforce planning insights and articulate business needs to the P&C center of excellence.
• Promote Culture & Engagement
• Implement OFarm's culture strategy — including DEI, engagement, recognition, and P&C Barn accountability — within client groups.
• Embed OFarm values into manager interactions, onboarding processes, and daily team activities.
• Direct Performance Management
• Oversee and ensure the execution of performance management cycles for Sr. Director and lower levels: reviews, talent calibrations, and pay-for-performance discussions.
• Advise managers on providing fair and actionable feedback while advocating for the use of OFarm's PM tools and methodologies.
• Assist with Employee Relations
• Independently manage early performance and employee interventions (conflict resolution, policy advice, informal investigations).
• Promptly escalate complex or high-risk issues — such as formal mediation and potential terminations — to HR operations and Legal.
• Collaborate with People & Culture Colleagues
• Learning and Development: identify development needs; connect managers with learning opportunities and co-facilitate targeted interventions within the function.
• Talent Acquisition: collaborate on role intake, interview calibration, and offer alignment; provide feedback loops on the hiring experience.
• HR Operations: work with the HR Operations team to support managers through lifecycle transactions; identify HRIS data discrepancies.
• A minimum of 5 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience; experience in consumer goods, food & beverage, or mission-driven sectors is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to independently manage tier ER issues with sound judgment on escalation.
• Practical experience in performance management, including reviews, calibrations, and pay-for-performance processes.
• Strong instincts for manager coaching and comfort in navigating L&D, TA, and HR Ops functions.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to distill HR guidance for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with SOX-related people process controls; experience in a public or recently public company is a plus.
• Proficient in HRIS and PM tools (Rippling, Workday, Insperity, or similar).
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms.
• Up to 10% travel required: While this role is primarily remote, "Farmers" meet as a company and/or department a few times a year. Expect potential travel several times each quarter.
