• Assisting in the complete employee life cycle, starting with the recruitment of new team members.
• Taking ownership of the recruitment process from the job briefing to the offer stage.
• Onboarding new hires; ensuring they receive a five-star experience, including acting as a point of contact, sending merchandise and equipment, and setting them up for success to ensure they are ready to excel on day one.
• Aiding various teams in organizing successful events; this includes providing merchandise, managing room bookings, and offering administrative support.
• Making sure all colleagues have the necessary equipment.
• Assisting in the organization of team days, which entails finding suitable dates, helping create the agenda, booking cost-effective travel for colleagues and founders, locating an appropriate venue, arranging catering, and following up for feedback.
• Offboarding employees who exit the organization.
• Acting as a liaison with some external suppliers.
• Assisting in creating internal communications related to people matters.
• Managing our ATS system, Team Tailor, and our HRIS system, Humaans.
• Keeping the employee handbook updated.
• Supporting the booking and arrangement of travel, transport, and accommodation as needed.
• Performing general administrative tasks for the organization.
• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a People, HR, or Talent role, preferably within a fast-growing or start-up environment.
• Experience supporting the recruitment process from start to finish, from briefing through to offer, is highly desirable.
• Attention to Detail: A thorough approach to every task, whether maintaining accurate records in our HRIS, crafting a job advertisement, or processing payroll.
• Communication Skills: A confident written and verbal communicator who can engage warmly and professionally with candidates, new hires, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborative Spirit: A natural team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
• Proactive & Adaptable: You are energized by variety and can initiate tasks without needing perfect definitions beforehand.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with HR and recruitment platforms (experience with Humaans and/or Team Tailor is a plus).
• Passion for the Mission: A genuine interest in women's health, reproductive rights, and Hertility's mission to ensure every woman has access to the healthcare she deserves.
• DBS Check: As this role involves handling sensitive and confidential information, successful candidates will be required to undergo a DBS check. Hertility will arrange and cover the costs for this as part of the onboarding process.
