People Analytics PL, Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Perform statistical, descriptive, and predictive analyses regarding People and their connection to the business, influencing decision-making, strategies, policies, and processes.

• Analyze and model deviations in key performance indicators and targets set for the People & Management division.

• Develop, validate, and document assumptions, rules, and definitions for the department's metrics.

• Prepare materials, training sessions, and informational resources about analytical products and tools to empower end users.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the business to evaluate and measure the real value generated by People Analytics solutions.

• Keep an eye on the market to spot trends and best practices, enhance and assess the effectiveness of People initiatives, and mitigate negative indicators such as turnover and absenteeism.

• Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and security of all analyses and datasets provided.

• Convert employee data into strategic insights, create analytical products and tools, and link People Analytics results to business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of inferential statistics as applied to business challenges (e.g., hypothesis testing, confidence intervals).

• Experience in designing experiments and executing causal inference (e.g., RCTs, quasi-experiments, MDE, ICC/DEFF, DiD/staggered adoption, ANCOVA, preregistration).

• Strong expertise in predictive modeling and multivariate statistics (e.g., regression, survival analysis for turnover, time series, Markov chains, temporal validation).

• Capability to manage and interpret large volumes of analytical data concurrently.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Proficient in at least one Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

• Advanced knowledge of relational data manipulation and processing using SQL and/or Python.

• Familiarity with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.
