People AI Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop AI agents, automations, and internal tools tailored for People-centric workflows, including recruiting, onboarding, mobility, HR operations, and performance cycles.

• Collaborate directly with members of the People team to grasp existing processes, repeated decision-making, and identify areas where automation can deliver immediate benefits.

• Utilize tools such as n8n, Claude Code, Notion AI, and the broader technology stack to deliver production-ready solutions that are built, tested, deployed, measured, and refined.

• Spearhead AI enablement throughout the organization by managing Vibe’s internal AI Champions program, selecting 1–2 power users from each team, providing them with a playbook, and assessing their impact.

• Educate non-technical teams through office hours, internal documentation, informational sessions, and hands-on workshops that facilitate their transition from curiosity to adoption.

• Empower business partners to gain confidence in AI by teaching roles such as recruiters, office managers, or people operations colleagues how to establish their first agent in a single session.

• Collaborate with Engineering on the foundational infrastructure, encompassing data access, MCP servers, governance, security, and technical bases for secure business-team development.

• Eliminate obstacles for builders in non-engineering teams by translating the needs of People and Operations into clear technical requirements.

• Ensure the systems you create are secure, scalable, maintainable, and compliant with internal standards.

• Establish and uphold clear guidelines for responsible AI usage within People, including data classification, authorized tools, internal workflows, and sensitive data management.

• Define permissible data usage, its applications, and what must remain within authorized environments.

• Collaborate with People, Legal, Security, and Engineering to create guardrails that facilitate rapid adoption while safeguarding trust, privacy, and compliance.

• Take ownership of adoption and impact by tracking key metrics: adoption rates, time saved, agents in production, workflow quality, internal user NPS, and team-level productivity improvements.

• Identify the most impactful opportunities across People and related operational teams.

• Design and implement a practical roadmap with the CPO (Chief People Officer), continuously enhancing it based on actual usage, feedback, and measurable results.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years developing internal tools, agents, automations, or workflow systems for non-technical users in a production environment.

• A strong hands-on builder proficient in Python or TypeScript, APIs, prompt engineering, and agent evaluation; experience delivering products is valued more than a CS degree.

• Extensive knowledge of contemporary AI and automation tools, including familiarity with at least two such as Dust, n8n, Make, Claude, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, MCP, Retool, or Airtable scripts.

• Proven experience working closely with non-technical stakeholders across People, Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue, or Product sectors.

• Strong judgment in processes and workflows: able to observe colleagues, pinpoint high-impact automation opportunities, design improved systems, and create operational efficiencies.

• Bilingual French/English operator with a strong sense of ownership, high judgment, comfort in ambiguous situations, and the ability to train teams without fostering dependency.
