Pensions Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Serve as an effective liaison within the organization for addressing technical issues.

β€’ Collaborate with external stakeholders to resolve technical concerns and cases.

β€’ Assist in meeting internal and external deadlines or KPIs in alignment with GDPR, ICO guidelines, and Right of Access / Right to be Forgotten.

β€’ Manage complex or high-value cases and complaints from members and third parties.

β€’ Handle cases related to the Pensions Ombudsman and Early Resolution Service, Subject Access Requests, and various internal technical inquiries.

β€’ Contribute to the preparation of monthly client statistics and reporting.

β€’ Identify and propose opportunities for improvement through case reviews, root cause analysis, and daily operations.

β€’ Assist in identifying potential future technical risks and changes, collaborating with management and colleagues to ensure business readiness and mitigation strategies.

β€’ Comply with Quality Management Systems, relevant regulations, and Capita policies, including the reporting of breaches.

β€’ Actively participate in meetings, ensuring that actions and target dates are agreed upon, documented, and successfully executed.

β€’ Mentor, coach, and share knowledge within the team and across the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Experience with DB Pensions.

β€’ Proficiency in Excel.

β€’ Capability to produce clear, concise, and accurate responses to complex casework from other business areas and clients.

β€’ Ability to plan and prepare detailed responses to regulatory complaints and disputes.

β€’ Strong relationship-building skills and ability to serve as a point of contact for technical matters.
