Penetration Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Partnering with security and product teams to pinpoint testing objectives, outline assessment scopes, and conduct white-box penetration testing on Akamai products.

• Evaluating risk vulnerabilities, conveying findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, and offering remediation advice to developers.

• Reassessing known vulnerabilities to ensure they have been addressed effectively.

• Creating custom tools when necessary to efficiently test Akamai products.

• Assisting with Akamai's bug bounty programs by reviewing researcher submissions and coordinating report remediation with internal product teams.

• Contributing to internal processes and documentation, and sharing insights with team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in leading and conducting penetration tests and/or red team engagements.

• Experience with testing various platforms, including web applications, mobile applications, client applications, and cloud and network environments.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, along with an understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and frameworks.

• Knowledge of how to remediate common vulnerabilities and the ability to propose tailored solutions based on application architecture and implementation.

• Familiarity with tools such as BurpSuite and IDAPro, as well as techniques like fuzzing.

• A driven and innovative individual who is highly motivated and possesses strong self-learning capabilities.

• Ability to utilize AI and LLMs to enhance both static and dynamic analysis, and to create automation for code analysis and vulnerability discovery.
