Penetration Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to uncover security risks and threats.

• Create and implement security testing strategies and procedures.

• Detect and exploit vulnerabilities across various technologies, including web applications, networks, and operating systems.

• Design and maintain bespoke tools and scripts tailored for penetration testing.

• Conduct social engineering evaluations to pinpoint potential security vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with clients to comprehend their security requirements and offer recommendations for enhancing their security posture.

• Engage in incident response efforts and assist clients during security breaches.

• Stay informed about emerging security threats, trends, and best practices in penetration testing through ongoing research.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, as applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools.

• Experience with both manual and automated penetration testing techniques.

• Proficiency in conducting penetration tests within cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with container security and experience testing containerized applications.

• Knowledge of industry-standard frameworks like OWASP and NIST.

• Awareness of compliance and regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.

• Understanding of Mobile Application Security Testing (MAST) and experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Insight into secure coding practices and capability to perform code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities.

• Expertise in network and web application security testing.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong project management skills with the capacity to oversee multiple projects concurrently.

• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
