Pediatric Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the marketing, management, and expansion of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in both hospital and office environments.

• Establish and support territory sales objectives for Similac and PediaSure across various hospital and office service areas.

• Engage in hospital negotiations and contracting processes.

• Possess extensive knowledge of all products, including clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines, with the capability to convey this information effectively in a sales context.

• Participate in new product introductions.

• Understand the organizational structure of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units.

• Collaborate effectively with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses.

• Demonstrate strong administrative capabilities.

• Manage budgets efficiently.

• Operate independently with a significant degree of initiative, independence, and self-sufficiency.

• Exhibit a strong desire to be self-motivated and actively pursue success in achieving both short- and long-term objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales experience, complemented by clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses).

• Demonstrated stability and success in sales performance.

• Expertise in the subject matter along with strong business acumen.

• Familiarity with hospital environments, particularly in pediatrics, is advantageous.
