This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with the Global Development Leads, Clinical Development Scientist Lead, and clinical study teams to implement pediatric clinical site engagement activities specific to studies.
• Actively identify and assess pediatric clinical sites to address study feasibility and enrollment requirements.
• Enhance engagement with US-based pediatric sites to boost site readiness and overall performance.
• Expedite site initiation by working directly with sites and internal startup teams to overcome barriers related to feasibility, documentation, and activation.
• Improve recruitment at active sites through direct performance support and targeted interventions for underperforming sites.
• Provide swift, field-informed resolutions for site-related issues.
• Maintain effective working relationships with pediatric investigators and institutions.
• Act as a pediatric clinical development partner to study teams.
• Facilitate two-way communication of actionable site insights to enhance study execution and risk management.
• Work closely with Clinical Operations and other supporting functions.
• Doctoral degree in a scientific or pharmaceutical field (e.g., PhD, PharmD).
• Significant experience in supporting pediatric clinical research, which may encompass a blend of biopharmaceutical industry experience, pediatric clinical practice, and/or direct participation in pediatric clinical trials.
• Expertise in pediatric subjects, including experience with children’s hospitals, pediatric investigators, and pediatric research networks.
• Experience in supporting pediatric trial feasibility, site identification, site initiation, and recruitment execution.
• Working knowledge of pediatric regulatory frameworks and expectations (e.g., PREA, PWR, PIP).
• Ability to engage credibly with pediatric investigators and site teams through scientific and clinical discussions.
• Capability to work independently with sound clinical and operational judgment within complex, matrixed development environments.
• Proven success in a field-based or highly autonomous role not tied to a corporate office.
