This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will take on both disciplinary and technical leadership of the payroll team, which currently comprises seven employees, focusing on resource allocation and enhancing internal processes.
• You will handle intricate issues related to wage tax and social security law.
• You will independently oversee larger clients of our tax firm across various industries regarding payroll and salary processing.
• You will prepare for and assist in payroll tax and social security audits.
• You will provide advisory services to our clients on wage tax and social security topics, offering practical recommendations.
• You will be accountable for processes and will contribute to the development of structures, checklists, and digital workflows.
• A successfully completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or a degree in business administration.
• Solid knowledge of social security and wage tax law, along with several years of professional experience in payroll and salary accounting.
• Proficient use of payroll software, ideally DATEV (Lohn & Gehalt / LODAS).
• A structured and responsible working style, along with a passion for technical leadership and teamwork.
• Enjoyment in personal interactions with clients, presenting yourself in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
