This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.
• Serve as a recognized subject matter expert for the country.
• Maintain and nurture existing relationships with key stakeholders within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Oversee the complete end-to-end payroll process in-house, including statutory filing requirements, handling exceptions, approvals, payments, and ensuring compliance.
• Guarantee full data integrity and quality.
• Conduct payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Concentrate on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Drive the implementation and enhancement of processes.
• Mentor and provide support to payroll specialists.
• Serve as a backup for regional managers during periods of absence.
• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, either in-house or with a payroll service provider.
• Familiarity with payroll best practices.
• Proficient in utilizing software tools such as Excel and Google Suite.
• Possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Capable of adapting to a dynamic, international work environment and driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact.
• A productivity enthusiast who consistently seeks ways to enhance and expedite work processes.
• Understand the necessity and advantages of largely asynchronous work.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Experience with remote work is not mandatory but considered a plus.
