This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Serve as a key subject matter expert for the country.
• Maintain and nurture existing relationships with essential stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
• Oversee complete end-to-end payroll processes in-house, including statutory filing obligations, exception handling, approvals, payments, and compliance.
• Ensure the highest levels of data integrity and quality.
• Manage payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Concentrate on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Drive the implementation and enhancement of processes.
• Provide mentorship and support to payroll specialists.
• Act as a backup for regional managers during their absence.
• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, either in-house or through a payroll service provider.
• Strong understanding of payroll best practices.
• Proficient in utilizing software tools such as Excel and Google Suite.
• Possess an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment and a passion for making a difference.
• Highly productive and consistently seeks ways to enhance and expedite their work.
• Understands the importance of working predominantly asynchronously.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
