This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Manage bi-weekly payroll for employees across various locations, ensuring all calculations are precise, compliant, and timely.
• Employ ADP payroll software to enter and oversee payroll information, encompassing new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, overtime, and deductions.
• Keep accurate employee records, ensuring all payroll-related information is current and maintained.
• Review and guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and wage garnishments.
• Prepare and submit payroll taxes and associated filings, including federal, state, and local tax payments, along with year-end forms.
• Create comprehensive payroll reports, monitor hours, overtime, and PTO usage, and address any discrepancies or issues concerning employee compensation.
• Assist in audits and guarantee precise documentation for both internal and external audits.
• Provide assistance to employees regarding payroll inquiries, deductions, and related issues.
• Keep abreast of changes in payroll regulations and best practices, ensuring the company adheres to all applicable laws.
• Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll and benefits.
• Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience, with proficiency in managing payroll using ADP.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll processing in both the U.S. and California, including a firm understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all payroll tasks.
• Capability to manage confidential and sensitive information with care.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to respond professionally to employee inquiries and effectively resolve issues.
• Adaptability to new technologies and systems as required.
• A collaborative team player willing to work with others to address challenges.
• **Preferred Qualifications:**
• Familiarity with accounting principles and experience in general ledger accounting.
• Certification in Payroll (CPP) or similar credentials is advantageous.
