Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Administer payroll for various international locations, ensuring precision and punctuality.

• Partner with local accountants and external payroll service providers to oversee complete payroll operations.

• Prepare and verify payroll information, including employee rosters, accruals, deductions, and bonuses.

• Maintain payroll accounting records and assist with management accounting reporting.

• Analyze payroll data, expenses, and trends to facilitate informed business decisions.

• Ensure accurate posting of payroll-related transactions in internal accounting systems.

• Address payroll-related questions from employees and managers, delivering clear explanations and support.

• Assist with salary modifications, bonus computations, and compensation adjustments in accordance with company policies.

• Generate internal reports and documentation (including salary certificates and management reports).

• Identify potential for process improvements and automation within payroll and reporting workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in international firms.

• Strong understanding of payroll processes and accounting principles.

• Familiarity with payroll/accounting systems (e.g., 1C, SAP, ADP, Workday, or similar).

• Advanced Excel proficiency and capability to handle large datasets.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail (essential for payroll roles).

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and capability to collaborate cross-functionally with HR and Finance teams.

• English proficiency: Intermediate+

• Russian proficiency: Intermediate+
