This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Manage comprehensive payroll processes for various clients utilizing the vendor-specific platform.
• Conduct audits on payroll data to ensure accuracy, encompassing earnings, deductions, and accruals.
• Execute payroll balancing to guarantee precise and error-free processing.
• Handle payroll modifications such as onboarding new hires, terminations, compensation adjustments, and changes to earnings/deductions within the vendor's system.
• Process off-cycle payrolls, bonuses, commissions, and retroactive adjustments as needed.
• Assist with payroll imports, integrations, and reviews of timekeeping data within the vendor-specific system.
• Collaborate with clients to gather, validate, and process payroll inputs.
• Identify and implement enhancements to payroll processes to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and address client payroll inquiries.
• Maintain payroll documentation and assist in the creation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Engage in payroll projects, system optimizations, and client onboarding activities as required.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and timely resolution of payroll-related issues.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Practical experience in payroll processing using the vendor-specific system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, including capabilities to audit, manipulate, and reconcile extensive payroll data sets.
• Experience utilizing Excel for payroll balancing, variance analysis, retro calculations, and data validation.
• Strong knowledge of formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF(S), COUNTIF(S), IF statements, and pivot tables.
• Capability to import/export payroll files and review data feeds via Excel.
• Experience in managing payroll communications with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple payrolls in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate complex payroll situations.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience.
• 2-4 years of direct experience in payroll processing within a vendor-specific system is required.
• Familiarity with payroll principles, practices, and procedures.
• Experience in configuring benefits and earnings/deduction preferred.
• Client payroll onboarding or implementation experience is an advantage.
• Extended periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Participation in video conferences and meetings is required.
