This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Ensure the timely and precise entry of all payroll and benefits information to the external payroll provider.
• Complete all necessary journals to supply relevant payroll data to the finance team.
• Process all salary payments through the Company bank account with treasury approval.
• Accurately reflect holiday, maternity, paternity, sickness, and any other leaves in payroll and Workday.
• Stay informed on payroll-related matters, including legislative changes and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
• Ensure adherence to all legal requirements.
• Address inquiries from employees and external partners regarding salary and benefits.
• Meet all statutory reporting obligations within the designated deadlines.
• Provide timely and accurate information to third parties, such as pension providers.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and enhance payroll processes.
• Maintain the payroll manual in an up-to-date manner at all times.
• Prior experience in payroll, ideally with a minimum of 5 years.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Ability to foster trusting relationships and exemplify our values while working in a virtual environment.
• Previous experience with Workday is highly desirable, but not essential as we will provide comprehensive training for all role aspects.
