This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Assist in the payroll processing for France, ensuring precision, promptness, and adherence to statutory obligations.
• Support and uphold in-house payroll operations in France, guaranteeing reliable and accurate service delivery.
• Execute European payrolls through BPO providers, which includes validating payroll inputs, coordinating activities, and reviewing payroll outputs.
• Examine payroll and expense calculations, payslips, and final payroll outputs before completion.
• Utilize payroll expertise and a solid understanding of French payroll laws, encompassing social security contributions, income tax withholding (Prélèvement à la Source – PAS), paid leave, and mandatory deductions.
• Ensure compliance with URSSAF and other statutory reporting requirements, including DSN.
• Escalate any intricate payroll or compliance challenges to senior payroll stakeholders when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with internal payroll, HR, finance, and EOR teams to facilitate seamless payroll delivery across Europe.
• Communicate with BPO payroll partners to address payroll inquiries and ensure service-level agreements are fulfilled.
• Keep precise payroll documentation and assist during audits or internal assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing payroll accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
• Aid in the testing of regulatory updates, system changes, and enhancements to payroll processes.
• At least 2+ years of payroll experience, particularly with French payroll.
• Familiarity with French payroll legislation is advantageous.
• Preferred experience with EOR payroll models or BPO payroll providers.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and data processing; experience with the Silae payroll system is a bonus.
• Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
• Capable of managing deadlines and payroll cut-off timelines effectively.
