This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assisting in the delivery of US Payroll Services
• Taking ownership of and managing essential payroll elements
• Timely processing of multi-state payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions
• Overseeing deductions and garnishments
• Maintaining payroll systems effectively
• Reconciling payroll accounts with the general ledger
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance
• Providing support to employees regarding payroll-related queries and professionally resolving any issues or discrepancies
• Collaborating with HR, finance, and vendor teams as necessary
• Guiding the strategies and best practices for service delivery
• Ensuring the execution of quality processes and alignment with strategic priorities
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• At least three years of experience in payroll
• Strongly preferred experience with Workday payroll
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• In-depth understanding of the payroll life-cycle along with quick adaptability to HCM systems, tools, and processes
• Proven ability to exercise judgment in making decisions and addressing complex tasks or issues
• Ability to evaluate the quality of information provided and pose relevant questions to stakeholders
• Capability to propose new solutions for problems outside established parameters and to construct and communicate recommendations
• Proficiency in documentation, planning, marketing, and executing programs
• Established skills in project management
• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and nurture others through coaching and mentoring
• Detail-oriented and numerically adept with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
