This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Execute comprehensive payroll processing from start to finish, primarily focusing on payroll for Canada and the US.
• Manage payroll cycles across various regions, ensuring precision and punctuality.
• Oversee payroll inputs, calculations, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Assist with global year-end payroll operations, tax submissions, and reporting requirements.
• Administer benefits for Canada and the US, which include health, dental, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and leave management.
• Oversee international benefits in collaboration with global vendors and local brokers in EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions.
• Ensure adherence to federal, provincial, state, and international payroll regulations.
• Serve as the escalation point for inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
• Manage and enhance payroll systems such as UKG, Workday, CloudPay, ADP, or similar platforms.
• A minimum of 10 years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a Payroll Lead or Manager position.
• Direct experience in processing payroll for Canada and the US (not merely supervisory).
• Demonstrated capability as a payroll practitioner with hands-on involvement in running payroll cycles.
• Experience with global payroll across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC is advantageous.
• Background in administering North American and international benefits.
• A degree or diploma in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Payroll certification is required (PCP, CPM, CPP, or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.
