This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the complete payroll cycle for Safeguard Global’s workforce following onboarding.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all company payroll policies as well as governmental regulations that affect payroll processing.
• Investigate and rectify discrepancies in payroll reports to ensure balance.
• Guarantee the precise and timely processing of payroll payments to employees.
• Conduct thorough reviews and approve payroll reports in accordance with internal data and client submissions.
• Regularly update KPI metrics, internal reports, payroll schedules, and master payroll inputs.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and communicate expert in-country requirements throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Monitor and preserve employee data diligently.
• Ensure that all employee records are current prior to payroll processing.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries.
• Oversee the funding and billing process for payroll, including the completion of charging sheets and the generation of sales invoices.
• Maintain and archive all pertinent employee documentation throughout their employment, adhering to local compliance and record-keeping standards.
• Manage modifications to employment contracts, including post-onboarding changes such as salary adjustments or benefits offered.
• Provide timely responses to inquiries from employees, internal support teams, ICP/ICE, and clients.
• Facilitate compliant offboarding for all employees on both Indefinite and Fixed Term Contracts, which may include voluntary or involuntary terminations.
• Ensure that background checks are completed as required, particularly if they were not finalized before the first payroll during Implementation.
• Two to three years of relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of payroll principles and local payroll regulations for supported countries.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both the local language and English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and analytical skills – capable of identifying, resolving, and mitigating issues.
• Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
