This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Engage in stimulating projects within the payroll sector.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to devise innovative solutions and enhance processes, with the chance to work for leading small and medium-sized enterprises or the next unicorn.
• Provide expert advice to our clients on all payroll-related matters, serving as a knowledgeable point of contact.
• Clearly articulate complex topics and assist in creating customized solutions.
• Actively participate in the implementation of new HR software solutions to enhance the efficiency of our payroll operations.
• Analyze and optimize current workflows to conserve time and resources.
• Assume full responsibility for independently managing payroll for a designated group of employees.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with all relevant tax, social security, and employment law regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding inquiries about payroll, wage tax, and social security.
• Address payroll-related questions and coordinate resolutions with internal departments such as HR and finance/accounting.
• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or possess an equivalent qualification.
• You have practical experience in independently managing payroll.
• You possess a strong understanding of German wage tax law and social security regulations.
• You have experience with payroll systems, preferably SAP.
• You demonstrate the ability to work independently, accurately, and reliably.
• You exhibit teamwork, flexibility, and resilience.
• You are open to occasional travel to client locations.
• You have proficient written and spoken German skills.
• Ideally, you also have proficiency in English.
• Enjoy a high level of flexibility (up to 100% remote work; flexible working hours during day-to-day operations; occasional work from within the EU also possible).
