This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Works in collaboration with Product Specialists to gain insights into country-specific payroll compliance needs and convert them into technical specifications for the development of the country's payroll engine.
• Instructs the Product team on relevant legislation, ensuring the accurate implementation of technical specifications by the Development team through comprehensive testing.
• Creates and upholds legislative specifications for reports and integrations, ensuring that new in-country requirements are incorporated into the product for ongoing compliance.
• Promotes continuous skill enhancement and compliance awareness within the Product team by collaborating on new in-country requirements.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Over 4 years of payroll experience in Singapore with advanced knowledge of local payroll taxes.
• Comprehensive understanding of local regulations and policies pertaining to payroll and HR.
• Capability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a timely and accurate manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and align with various stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to explain complex issues in an understandable manner.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• High proficiency in English.
• Experience in multiple country jurisdictions is a plus.
• Background in supporting the design, construction, and implementation of a multi-region Payroll Solution is advantageous.
