This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee payroll operations for both U.S. and international clients, encompassing routine processing, one-off payments, and compliance across various states.
• Maintain an accurate payroll tracker and meticulously review payroll invoices for correctness.
• Manage payroll tax registration with different U.S. state tax authorities.
• Administer PEO/payroll systems and benefits plans, ensuring employees have a seamless experience.
• Assist with benefits enrollment for new hires.
• Act as the primary resource for inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and administrative matters.
• Support termination processes, COBRA administration, and final payment distributions.
• Generate reports and submit necessary data to state, federal, and local government entities as required.
• Aid in HR and payroll recordkeeping for clients.
• Undertake special projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and improving HR and payroll operations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll accounting and benefits administration within U.S. companies.
• Background in working with small to midsize enterprises.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in payroll systems and PEO models.
• Familiarity with startup tech stacks (e.g., Gusto, Justworks, Rippling, Deel, Sequoia One, etc.).
