This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for the self-sufficient and prompt preparation of monthly payroll.
• Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients, social security agencies, and authorities regarding all aspects of payroll tax and social security.
• Responsible for the preparation of certificates and statutory reporting/filings.
• Serve as the primary contact for audits related to social security, payroll tax, and more.
• Collaborate with the founding team to enhance the software using relevant practical insights.
• Assist HR initiatives by contributing to the development of future job profiles within the payroll team.
• Successfully completed advanced training as an IHK-certified payroll accountant (IHK Lohnbuchhalter) or as a Payroll & Wage Specialist (Fachassistent Lohn & Gehalt).
• Basic understanding of social security, payroll tax, and employment law.
• Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
• Excellent proficiency in the German language.
• Ideally, previous experience with Agenda payroll software.
