This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and advisor for international clients regarding all payroll-related issues.
• Take the initiative to prepare monthly payroll and salary statements independently.
• Proactively counsel international clients on regulations pertinent to Germany.
• Liaise with German authorities effectively.
• Manage payroll-related topics, wage tax, and social security issues independently.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the industry or at least 3 years in a tax firm as a payroll accountant or tax clerk.
• Strong understanding of the German social security system.
• Eager to learn and committed to continuous professional development.
• Excellent collaboration skills and a passion for teamwork.
• Demonstrated initiative and dependability.
• Experience as a payroll specialist and in providing advice to international companies.
• High self-discipline and the capability to work independently from a home office.
• Proficiency in English (beneficial but not mandatory).
