This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Independent and precise execution of the monthly payroll for all locations, encompassing wages and salaries.
• Accurate computation of salaries, special payments, and deductions utilizing DATEV Lohn & Gehalt.
• Reporting and certification to social security institutions, tax authorities, and other pertinent organizations.
• Electronic retrieval and processing of sick leave certificates.
• Act as the main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries across the sites.
• Coordination and communication with health insurance providers, social security institutions, and relevant authorities.
• Ongoing optimization of payroll processes.
• Assist the HR department with administrative tasks and HR projects.
• Completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification with a focus on payroll accounting.
• Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting, preferably in a multi-location environment.
• Excellent knowledge of payroll tax legislation and social security regulations.
• Experience with DATEV payroll systems (LODAS / Lohn & Gehalt is advantageous).
• Structured, detail-oriented, and independent working approach.
