Payor-Partner Program Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver direct assistance and act as the main point of contact for patients associated with specific third-party payers.

• Adhere to tailored patient support service models and initiatives.

• Function as a subject matter expert on selected payer partner programs, aiding in patient triage and management.

• Contribute to process enhancement and assess patient needs utilizing partner CRMs.

• Receive and manage triaged patient inquiries from the general call center.

• Choose appropriate billing and shipping options for incoming patient orders and coordinate deliveries.

• Provide customer service support and direct incoming calls to the relevant staff members.

• Record patient-reported data in TherigySTM.

• Document and relay information through McKesson EnterpriseRX.

• Record and investigate plan-specific details in partner CRM/tools.

• Address customer service and payment-related concerns to ensure member satisfaction.

• Maintain acceptable production levels as set by the supervisor.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new team members.

• Complete required and regulatory training programs.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is necessary.

• Comprehensive understanding of medications, physician orders, and pharmacy systems.

• Strong communication skills are essential.

• Exceptional customer service abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.

• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.

• Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role.

• Preferred: 12 months of experience in a call center setting.

• Preferred: 24 months of experience as a pharmacy technician.

• Certification as a pharmacy technician or in a related field is preferred.
