This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Gibraltar.
• We are seeking a Payments & Wallet Product Manager to take ownership of one of the most essential systems within our organization and ensure successful execution.
• Enhance conversion rates, approval rates, and overall payment success.
• Minimize friction, failures, and user drop-offs.
• Propel wallet intelligence and enhance personalization.
• Utilize AI, ML, and Data Science to optimize every phase of the payments funnel.
• Gain a profound understanding of player behavior throughout the payments funnel: pinpoint where users abandon, reasons for payment failures, and factors that drive conversion.
• Continuously evaluate: Approval rates, Payment latency, Provider performance, and the impact of Fraud / KYC.
• Lead AI-driven routing optimization: dynamically select the most suitable provider for each user.
• Detect patterns in: Payment failures, Fraud indicators, and Behavioral drop-offs.
• Create intelligent wallet experiences: including suggested top-ups, currency optimization, and personalized offers.
• Manage the delivery of your product area from start to finish: from specification to launch.
• Maintain a well-organized backlog: prioritized effectively, clearly understood by the team, and aligned with important goals such as revenue, conversion, and player experience.
• Proactively identify and communicate blockers. If a risk arises, ensure that the appropriate stakeholders are informed before it escalates. Aim to ship quickly while measuring everything.
• Handle multiple workstreams concurrently without losing oversight. You are aware of which tasks need the most attention and can adjust your focus as necessary.
• Foster collaborative working relationships with Engineering, Design, Data, Legal, Commercial, and CRM teams.
• 3–6+ years of product management experience, demonstrating a history of owning and delivering product initiatives throughout both discovery and delivery stages.
• Proficient in the core PM toolkit: including user research, prioritization frameworks, backlog management, A/B testing, and drafting product specifications that teams can effectively implement.
• Strong problem-framing abilities: capable of transforming a vague brief or a convoluted data set into a clear, actionable product hypothesis.
• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams. You understand what effective collaboration with Engineering and Design entails and actively facilitate it.
• Familiarity with at least one of the following: Payments, Fintech, Wallet systems, or Marketplaces/high-transaction products.
• Solid understanding of payment processes, checkout optimization, and conversion funnels.
• A proven history of delivering products: not only initiating projects but also completing them and assessing their effectiveness.
• Commercial awareness: you grasp how your product initiatives link to business outcomes (revenue, retention, conversion, engagement) and leverage that understanding for prioritization, not merely reporting.
• Experience in designing and conducting experiments, deriving meaningful insights from results, and integrating those learnings into the product roadmap.
• Familiarity with AI tools in your work, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Cursor, or similar, and the ability to discuss your experiences and learnings from these tools.
• A genuine interest in the influence of AI on product management: you stay informed about the field, contemplate its implications, and possess well-formed opinions rather than mere awareness.
• Clear and direct communicator, both in writing and verbally. You can simplify complex ideas without sacrificing accuracy and are comfortable composing concise one-pagers or presenting to senior audiences.
• Low ego coupled with high standards: you share credit, invite constructive feedback, and maintain a quality benchmark for your work as well as that of others.
• Self-motivated and independent: you do not wait for instructions. You identify key priorities, form perspectives, and take initiative.
