This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• Accountable for the design and iteration of the company's payment middleware platform, order management system, and clearing module across Europe and Latin America, acting as the lead for the company's essential payment infrastructure product line.
• Spearhead the product development roadmap and execution for the global fiat payment platform, concentrating on backend functionalities.
• Oversee the design of a comprehensive lifecycle management system for orders, encompassing order creation, status transitions, timeout handling, and a closed-loop reconciliation process.
• Develop the clearing system, which includes T+0/T+1 settlement plans, multi-currency reconciliation regulations, error management, and fund verification procedures.
• Propose an integration strategy for global payment channels (PSPs, bank rails, and local payment methods), ensuring scalable and standardized integration frameworks.
• Construct and enhance core system modules, focusing on transaction lifecycle management, success rate improvement, latency reduction, and failure management.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk, compliance, and finance teams to create robust systems for settlement, reconciliation, and fund flow management.
• Propel platform-level advancements to enable global scalability, including multi-region architecture, localization frameworks, and system abstraction.
• Establish and track key system metrics (such as success rate, latency, and reliability) and drive ongoing optimization through data analysis and experimentation.
• Work alongside internal product teams (like wallet, account, and growth infrastructure) to guarantee seamless integration of payment functionalities throughout the ecosystem.
• Function as a proactive individual contributor, identifying system deficiencies and driving comprehensive execution in a complex environment.
• 6–10+ years of product management experience, ideally in payments, fintech, or platform/infrastructure products.
• Extensive experience with payment systems such as payment orchestration, transaction platforms, or cashier/back-end payment solutions.
• Profound understanding of the payment lifecycle, including routing, retries, success rate improvement, and failure management.
• Familiarity with backend system design and APIs; adept at collaborating closely with engineering teams on system architecture.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with experience utilizing metrics to inform product decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage intricate, cross-functional projects in a global or multi-regional setting.
• Strong sense of ownership, structured thinking, and capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
