This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Managing daily payment operations across various processors and regions.
• Emphasizing chargeback management, KPI monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Collaborating closely with senior team members to handle chargebacks, track payment performance, investigate discrepancies, and assist in cross-functional initiatives aimed at minimizing risk and enhancing the seller experience.
• Aiding in the complete chargeback process from start to finish.
• Observing chargeback volumes, win rates, and associated KPIs.
• Applying and consistently expanding knowledge of card network chargeback regulations and evidence requirements.
• Coordinating with sellers and internal teams to gather necessary documentation for dispute responses.
• Monitoring payment processor dashboards and alerts to detect potential issues or disruptions.
• Tracking essential payment and chargeback metrics using existing reports and tools.
• Supporting the analysis of trends.
• Assisting in the preparation of regular reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Addressing Tier I–II payment-related inquiries from sellers and internal teams.
• Investigating routine issues related to settlements, refunds, disputes, or processor behavior.
• Collaborating with Finance, Risk, Support, and Product teams to resolve issues.
• Helping document and uphold standard operating procedures for chargebacks and payment operations.
• Contributing ideas and feedback to enhance processes, tools, and reporting.
• Sharing observations and insights with senior team members to assist ongoing optimization initiatives.
• Over 1 year of experience in payments operations, chargebacks, customer support operations, finance operations, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of card payments and the chargeback/dispute lifecycle (hands-on experience is preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to documented processes.
• Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and spreadsheets to monitor performance metrics.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exposure to chargeback processing, payment processors, or merchant-of-record environments is preferred.
• Experience in SaaS, digital goods, ecommerce, or fintech sectors is advantageous.
• Familiarity with reporting or BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Excel/Google Sheets) is preferred.
• Interest in furthering knowledge in risk, fraud, and payment optimization is desirable.
