Payment & Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure prompt and precise allocation of payments, facilitating a seamless daily payment process.

• Effectively decrease outstanding receivables through steady and professional oversight of the dunning and collection procedures.

• Offer knowledgeable, solution-focused assistance to business clients and partners in the vehicle remarketing sector (OEMs, dealer groups).

• Continuously spot opportunities for optimization at the intersections with the Finance, Operations, Fleet, and Growth teams.

• Advance and automate internal receivables procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.

• Contribute actively to reducing payment defaults while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong numerical aptitude along with a structured, independent, and meticulous working style.

• Demonstrated experience in customer interactions and service-oriented communication, ideally in a B2B setting.

• Exceptional communication abilities and assertiveness to effectively and purposefully manage receivables processes.

• Proficient German language skills (C1/C2 level) and very good English language skills (B2 level), both written and spoken.

• Experience in supporting partner networks within the automotive or fleet industry (e.g., OEMs, dealer groups).

• Initial hands-on experience with popular ERP, finance, or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) in a scaling startup context.
