Payer Enrollment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Process new provider enrollments with Medicare, Medicaid, and leading commercial payers (e.g., BCBS, UHC, Aetna, Cigna)

• Actively monitor provider enrollment and credentialing progress with Medicare, Medicaid, and prominent commercial payers (e.g., BCBS, UHC, Aetna, Cigna)

• Request and follow up on payer fee schedules to facilitate internal planning

• Keep CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and state portals updated; quickly resolve discrepancies and follow-up requests

• Maintain current payer status logs; provide real-time reporting on turnaround times, expirations, and pending items using tracking tools

• Work collaboratively with credentialing team members and communicate with payer representatives to escalate issues, eliminate delays, and expedite approval timelines

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, hands-on experience with payer enrollment

• Proven success in credentialing providers with health plans in NY, NJ, CA, TX, FL, PA, and CO (please specify payers)

• Proficiency in credentialing databases, spreadsheets, and document-management systems

• Excellent written communication, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities
