Payer Enablement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold payer configurations within Tava’s EMR system.

• Convert payer requirements into system logic and configuration standards.

• Ensure uniformity and standardization across payer setups.

• Administer fee schedules and verify contracted rates.

• Detect and rectify discrepancies in Tava’s EMR and across other platforms.

• Facilitate accurate reimbursement through meticulous configuration.

• Maintain SOPs and Insurance Articles to mirror current workflows and payer requirements.

• Continuously enhance documentation for improved clarity and usability.

• Utilize AI tools to boost operational documentation efficiency.

• Collaborate with Payer Operations, RCM, Product, and Payer Partnerships.

• Aid in troubleshooting, payer updates, and system-related challenges.

• Provide clear operational context to assist in system enhancements.

• Audit configurations and workflows to guarantee accuracy and consistency.

• Identify inefficiencies or error patterns and escalate as necessary.

• Proactively seek opportunities to minimize manual tasks using tools, automation, and AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in operations, consulting, analytics, or a related field, or robust analytical training through university studies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to deconstruct complex systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about the healthcare payer and revenue cycle landscape.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.

• Comfort in utilizing modern tools (including AI) to enhance workflows and efficiency.

• Enthusiasm for leveraging AI and modern tools to rethink operational tasks rather than merely executing existing processes.

• Experience in digital health.

• Background in high-growth environments.

• Familiarity with custom systems, rules engines, or configuration-intensive platforms.
