This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the contracting strategy and its implementation for designated national payer accounts, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.
• Manage the lifecycle of contract documents across various workstreams, including version control and providing clear, proactive status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure timely deliverables by making clear recommendations, identifying and resolving issues early, and maintaining momentum to reduce rework.
• Prepare term sheets, RFP responses, amendments, and related contract language to facilitate negotiations and renewals, accurately representing pricing strategy, rebates, and discount structures.
• Organize document review meetings and ensure partners are adequately informed about document status, history, and decisions required for progression.
• Oversee project management for planned and ad hoc initiatives within Contract Development and U.S. Value & Access, coordinating inputs and timelines from various stakeholders.
• Compile and produce contract documentation to support internal and external audits and litigation, ensuring all materials are complete and traceable.
• Collaborate with the CLM system team to enhance processes and systems that improve contracting execution.
• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 2 years of contract development or writing experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of contract development or writing experience OR Associate’s degree with 8 years of contract development or writing experience OR High school diploma/GED with 10 years of contract development or writing experience.
• Previous experience in contract writing, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Word; strong administrative capabilities.
• Capacity to execute projects, make decisions with minimal guidance, prioritize competing document requests, and manage multiple documents through to completion.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to incorporate complex business strategies into contracts.
• Understanding of the U.S. commercial and government healthcare reimbursement landscape.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in reading, drafting, editing, and comprehending legal contract documents.
• Experience in Pharmaceuticals or Biotechnology.
