Pavement Management Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Oversee every aspect of a geotechnical, facilities, materials, or environmental engineering project.

• Guarantee that the project is finalized within the designated timeframe, scope, and budget.

• Track the progress and performance in alignment with the project plan.

• Identify and recommend solutions for operational issues.

• May handle resource management, project scheduling, budget oversight, forecasts, and liaising with external vendors, subcontractors, or contractors.

• Conduct meetings and create reports to convey the project's status to both the project team and the client.

• Establish priorities, delegate tasks, and coordinate project personnel to achieve project objectives and milestones.

• May be tasked with client communication and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations.

• Collaborates with APR to engage throughout the project, especially during critical phases.

• Involved in the approval of invoices, preparation of change orders, and managing collections.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline relevant to the Firm’s practices, such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology, along with a minimum of 15 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 19 years of related experience may substitute for a degree.

• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.

• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer certification is mandatory.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or equivalent professional registration/certification pertinent to the types of services and projects being overseen.

• Authorized Project Reviewer status is preferred.
