Patient Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Confirming insurance benefits and medical documentation for the submission of pre-authorization requests to adjusters.

• Assist in the processing of prior authorizations, appeals, and updates related to insurance for prescriptions.

• Manage a substantial volume of inbound and outbound calls while addressing incoming referrals.

• Employ Salesforce and other internal systems to fulfill daily responsibilities.

• Analyze necessary information utilizing available resources to aid in referral processing and case updates.

• Refer urgent or complicated issues to the Intake Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of patient intake experience with insurance verification.

• 1-2 years of experience in prior authorization within a clinical environment.

• Experience with Workers’ Compensation claims.
