This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the primary point of contact for both new and existing CommUnityCare patients
• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments for physicians and patients
• Optimize the use of CommUnityCare resources through effective scheduling techniques
• Conduct interviews with new patients and/or their representatives
• Collect patient demographic details and insurance information
• Recognize urgent scheduling requirements and prioritize them accordingly
• Address and resolve patient inquiries
• Assist with financial screening services
• Ensure a positive experience for patients through professional interactions
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical or call-center environment is required
• Proficient typing skills with a minimum speed of 45 wpm
• Previous experience in scheduling, registration, billing, or as an administrative assistant
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred
• Outstanding customer service provided to all patients
• Appointment scheduling assistance
• Information regarding the status of patient prescriptions
• Serving as a single point of contact for community providers
• Communicating messages to clinic staff as necessary
