This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee patients' health data: consistently analyze incoming health metrics (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation) through remote monitoring systems.
• Detect and escalate abnormal readings: identify trends and deviations from standard ranges, marking abnormal and critical alerts, and escalating issues to the relevant healthcare provider for necessary intervention.
• Educate patients and caregivers: offer instructions on the correct usage of remote monitoring devices, clarify the importance of their readings, and promote adherence.
• Manage noncompliance and patient engagement: track patient adherence to the remote monitoring initiative, identify causes of noncompliance, and provide advice and support to boost participation; follow up with patients not consistently transmitting data.
• Document and report: keep precise records of patient interactions, abnormal readings, and escalations; ensure adherence to healthcare policies and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams: relay findings, abnormal trends, and patient concerns to physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to enable prompt medical interventions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues: assist patients in resolving connectivity or device-related challenges, ensuring accurate data transmission and device functionality; coordinate with technical support teams as necessary.
• Engage in continuous training and improvement: remain informed about developments in remote monitoring technology and methodologies.
• Serve as a remote monitoring expert; provide support for compliance in remote device management for practice physicians and clinical staff.
• Address other issues relevant to the position.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
• Strong skills in patient education.
• Excellent telephone demeanor.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently from home.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
• Displays professionalism in all interactions to ensure a positive experience.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to strict adherence.

• Proficient computer skills.
