Patient Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with the admission of new patients by gathering and inputting precise demographic and clinical data.

• Confirm insurance coverage and assess benefits.

• Submit and track authorizations as necessary.

• Evaluate prescription validity and identify any missing or necessary documentation.

• Engage with patients and referral sources to collect essential intake information.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a prompt start of care.

• Maintain precise documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare intake, medical office administration, or insurance support.

• Preferred experience in insurance verification or authorizations.

• High school diploma or GED is required.
