This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering educational support.
• Assist new patients during the onboarding process with compassion, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Manage a significant volume of phone calls, employing active listening and de-escalation techniques to handle challenging scenarios.
• Effectively multitask and prioritize tasks—navigating various computer systems while accurately capturing all essential patient information.
• Work autonomously from home, consistently adhering to shift, break, and lunch schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate referrals and admissions.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare or customer service, with a focus on insurance benefits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong empathy and active listening abilities—particularly over the phone.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; capable of multitasking and navigating multiple screens.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently from home as per the schedule.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
