📋 Description

• Responding to patient inquiries regarding treatment, logistics, and subsequent steps.

• Addressing patient issues related to shipping, refunds, scheduling, and care coordination.

• Monitoring patients throughout their care journey and ensuring timely follow-up.

• Verifying, documenting, and reporting on insurance eligibility information.

• Keeping precise documentation within the EMR while complying with HIPAA and privacy regulations.

• Managing multiple priorities while remaining grounded, communicative, and dependable to both patients and team members.

• This position necessitates a high degree of accuracy and commitment to follow-through.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in healthcare (MA, PCA, CNA, or a similar clinical or patient-facing role) with a minimum of 1 year of experience in abortion care.

• Comfort in working within both in-clinic and remote settings.

• Strong skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving.

• Proficient triage skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in real-time.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of providing clear and empathetic guidance to patients during stressful or uncertain situations.

• Proficient in utilizing online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients.

• Comfortable supporting patients with sensitive health matters, such as abortion and birth control.

• Ability to navigate protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies relevant to patient care and documentation.

• Experience in delivering trauma-informed care, demonstrated by the capacity to slow down, adjust tone, and engage with patients in a steady and respectful manner during crises.

• Willingness to participate in continuous process improvement to enhance tools and operations for better care delivery.

• Strong capability to prioritize competing tasks, manage time effectively, and communicate proactively with teammates regarding progress, changes, and follow-up.
